Because safety on board our vehicles is one of the priorities of our drivers, we wanted to inform you about the regulations and provisions concerning the transport of your children.
If public transport and taxis are not legally required to have a car seat to transport babies and children on board, the same is not true for private drivers. !
Indeed, just like any private driver, the regulations require VTC drivers to provide a car seat adapted to the weight and age of your child strong> for any trip, no matter how long or how far!
Most mobile VTC booking platforms (Uber, Heetch, Kapten, etc.) do not offer a “car seat” option when booking your trip. It is therefore rare to come across a VTC driver using one of these reservation centers with a baby or child car seat on board his vehicle.
If they are conscientious and professional, VTC drivers must cancel the race for obvious security reasons, thus causing delay and disarray in the face of the failure of a trip that was supposed to be organized and serene! Unfortunately, in some cases, some VTC drivers will tell you that the car seat is not mandatory and will accept, despite the risks to their safety, that your child is installed on your lap or directly on the back seat of the vehicle.
When you are a parent, you want the best and above all safety for our children, especially when you are on the road!

For any trip with a child under 10 years old or less than 1.35 m tall, we undertake to provide you with a baby seat, a child seat or a booster seat adapted to the weight and size. age of your little one on request when you make your reservation*.
Our VTC drivers are equipped with seats that comply with R44/04 and ISOFIX standards which comply with the following provisions:
Group 0 from 0 to 10 kg: cozy installed rear facing
Group 1 from 9 to 18 kg: 2nd age seat with harness or shield installed facing or rear facing (recommended up to 15 months minimum)
Group 2 from 15 to 25 kg: booster seat must have a backrest or seat installed facing or back to the road
Group 3 from 22 to 36 kg: booster seat
*no supplement for this service
